Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) has received Russian approval for the installation of its STC-approved King Air aft jump seat kits in Beechcraft B300 (350) series aircraft. In addition, AvFab also has STC approval in the USA, Europe, Brazil, Mexico, Canada and Indonesia.

“This approval is another big product milestone,” said GR Lowe, co-founder of AvFab. “Now operators in Russia will be able to realize the significant versatile advantage of adding our aft jump seats kits to their aircraft. We will continue to add more and more countries to our list of approvals for the seats.”

The jump seats fold down from the sidewall of the aircraft in the aft baggage compartment. The seats are interchangeable with the OEM jump seat and can utilize the existing OEM hardware if the aircraft is so equipped. If the aircraft has not been previously equipped with an installation kit, the AvFab kit can be used to make the installation.

The kit includes all installation hardware, brackets, parts, the seat (not upholstered), complete restraint system, life vest, overhead lights, vents, oxygen drop-downs and installation instructions. AvFab says it generally has kits in stock and available for immediate shipment.
