AMAC Aerospace has announced that it has received an extension to its existing approval from the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). The company says that this expanded certification further enhances AMAC’s maintenance capabilities and reinforces its strong presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The extended GACA approval now includes new ratings for the Bombardier CL-600-2B16 airframe and the General Electric CF34-3B engine.
AMAC Aerospace’s existing GACA approval already covers a wide range of aircraft types, including Boeing 737 Series, 747-4J6, Airbus A330-243, A310-304, A318, A319, A320 and A340 Families, Gulfstream G-1159, G-1159A, G-1159B, G-IV, GV, GV-SP, G350, G450, and Bombardier BD-700-1A10, BD-700-1A.
With this extension, AMAC Aerospace can now provide maintenance support for HZ-registered Bombardier CL-600-2B16 aircraft powered by General Electric CF34-3B engines, expanding its service offering to a broader range of Bombardier business jets.
