Pentastar Aviation has appointed Scott Brooks to a newly created position: director of avionics solutions. Brooks reports to Doug Levangie, vice president of maintenance operations and advisory services, and will be responsible for the development of existing product partnerships and the creation of new avionics solutions to support emerging avionics technologies.

“Scott’s wealth of experience in avionics equipment for corporate and general aviation aircraft, as well as his knowledge on airspace requirements, are a great fit for Pentastar Aviation,” said Levangie. “Scott’s vision for the future of our avionics service capabilities reflects Pentastar’s commitment to offering our customers the latest aircraft technologies.”

Brooks has been involved in the business aviation industry for more than 30 years, and has extensive experience in avionics design, testing and certification of avionics systems found on multiple airframes. Prior to joining Pentastar, he served as principle regional sales manager for Rockwell Collins.

“I am proud to join an organization with a strong reputation for delivering industry-leading avionics capabilities and look forward to working with our team of experts to offer customers innovative avionics solutions to help them achieve optimal aircraft efficiency, connectivity and productivity,” said Brooks.
