HAECO Cabin Solutions, a division of HAECO Americas and a business unit within HAECO Group, has announced it will expand its design engineering and interior product manufacturing capacity in a new 259,000ft² facility in High Point, North Carolina, USA.

The building is close to HAECO Americas’ headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina. Renovations are scheduled to start in 2015 and the facility is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2016.

Up to 400 employees are expected to work at the new facility, including a mix of new hires and transfers from other HAECO locations.

“The new facility boosts our capacity to deliver interior products and services to customer airlines from around the world,” said Kevin Carter, CEO of HAECO Americas. “We are making a considerable investment to purchase the facility and upgrade it to an industry leading aviation interiors fabrication center.”

The company will continue to operate its dedicated seat engineering and manufacturing facility in nearby Wallburg, North Carolina.
