AMAC has ordered CTT Systems’s Cair VIP inflight humidification system for a BBJ 747-8 and an ACJ320neo.

In both cases, the systems will be used to increase humidity throughout the entire cabin, requiring eight and two humidifiers respectively. The orders are CTT’s 87th and 88th for ACJ and BBJ aircraft. CTT will deliver the systems between June and December this year.

Peter Landquist, vice president of sales and marketing at CTT Systems, said, “We are honored by this prestigious AMAC award. This will be our seventh BBJ 747-8 and our very first ACJneo.”

Cair generates a relative humidity of approximately 20%, compared to 3-5% without humidifiers. The system utilizes evaporative cooling technology designed to preclude the transfer of bacteria and improves air quality by reducing particles in the cabin air. The system offers anti-condensation protection.
