CTT Systems has announced orders for its Cair system to be installed on two VIP BBJ 787 aircraft. The work is scheduled to begin in Autumn 2015.

CTT Systems has received a total of 70 Cair orders for ACJ and BBJ projects. “This is the first time the Cair system has been ordered for the BBJ 787 aircraft,” said Peter Landquist, vice president of sales and marketing at CTT Systems.

The company says its humidification system gives a relative humidity of around 20%, compared to 3-5% without. The system is based on evaporative cooling technology and also incorporates the Zonal Drying System to counter condensation problems.
