West Star Aviation recognised for environmental leadership

For the sixth consecutive year, West Star Aviation has been recognised as a Gold Leader from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environmental Leadership Program (ELP).

The ELP is a state-wide recognition and reward programme offering benefits and incentives to members that go above and beyond compliance with state and federal regulations and are committed to continual environmental improvements. West Star Aviation entered the Colorado Governor’s ELP in October 2010, in addition to being a Western Slope leader, which means assisting other companies to successfully enter the programme.

“Contributing to the community’s ongoing environmental efforts and improvements gives our company and employees great pride knowing we are focused on growing a green company with new innovations and ideas,” said Dave Krogman, general manager at West Star Aviation’s facility in Grand Junction, Colorado.
