Starling Aerospace launches track and swivel seat

A new track and swivel seat – certified for 9g and 16g aircraft – will be unveiled by Starling Aerospace, at Aircraft Interiors Expo, to be held in Hamburg, Germany, on April 4-6, 2017.

Constructed from lightweight aluminum, the seat is designed to accommodate even adults over 6ft tall in comfort. Mechanically operated, it reclines to a lie-flat angle of 179°, turns 359°, and can track sideways, backward and forward.

The seat’s styling and upholstery can be customized, with a variety of colors, materials and metal finishes available. Depending on the finish materials selected, Starling Aerospace says it can offer a 6-8-week turnaround for the seat. It builds the product in-house.

Other products to be displayed by Starling Aerospace at Aircraft Interiors Expo include the company’s Berthable Divan (which is available in single-, three- or four-place versions), Hilo Table and a new tea table that is designed to look like solid gold or silver, but is actually constructed from aluminum with a semi-precious stone tabletop.

UK-based Starling Aerospace carries EASA approvals for design (UK21J.538), manufacturing (UK21G.2581), and repair and overhaul (UK145.01249).
