Six letters of intent for Yasava Solutions’ Aïana Wave

Yasava Solutions has received six letters of intent for its new Aïana Wave seat. The product was launched at EBACE 2015, which was held in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 19-21. Aïana Wave is the standard seat offered as part of Yasava’s Astral Design Series for ultra-long-range corporate jets.

Yasava says the seat features smart mechanics, using gravity rather than electrical actuation systems. The company has also worked a lot on the ergonomics, including studying aeromedical research on long-endurance space travel under induced gravitational fields. Seat manufacturer Optimares will make, test and certify Aïana Wave.

The Astral Design Series, which incorporates the seat, was showcased at EBACE using Oculus Rift virtual reality technology.

The letters of intent, with refundable deposits, will be converted to orders upon initial EASA/FAA certification.
