The NBAA has recommended Paula Kraft, founder of inflight catering company Tastefully Yours, to hold a three-year term as a subject matter expert on the board of International Standard for Business Aircraft Handlers (IS-BAH).
Kraft is currently preparing to open a professional flight attendant training school at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport in Florida. The DaVinci Inflight Training Institute will open for classes in July 2017.
The 6,500ft² facility includes a mock flight department area to teach graduates about the entire cabin service experience. Bespoke products and services, including butler training, new galley technology, food packaging and presentation, will be available. The facility will also offer cabin safety training in cooperation with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
“Our comprehensive training platform will offer both the seasoned or new corporate flight attendant the best in inflight safety, professional skills and culinary service capabilities,” said Kraft. “DaVinci will allow flight attendants to not only enhance their value to employers but also create greater passenger loyalty and brand reputation for flight operations around the world.”
