Embraer Executive Jets has appointed a new chief commercial officer, Stephen Friedrich, who joins the company from Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace, where he was vice president for sales and marketing and had also served in the aviation finance group. Other previous roles include leadership positions in aviation finance and banking.

In his new role, Friedrich will manage the global sales organization for new and pre-flown aircraft, and oversee relationships both with customers and industry collaborators. “This is an exciting time to join Embraer Executive Jets as it prioritizes the value of its portfolio,” said Friedrich. “Embraer’s revolutionary jets have set new standards in comfort, performance and reliability, delivering outstanding value to customers.”

Friedrich reports to Michael Amalfitano, president and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. “Stephen brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, finance, customer support and services, and aftermarket programs, from over 30 years in the leasing and aerospace sectors,” said Amalfitano. “With our strategic shift to focus on value, his dynamic leadership will strengthen our global sales team and challenge us to create more comprehensive solutions for our customers to outperform.”
