Adam White, CEO, Comlux Completion

Comlux has appointed Adam White as chief executive officer of Comlux Completion, based in Indianapolis, Indiana. White will report to the board of directors of Comlux group and directly to the group CEO.

As CEO of Comlux Completion, White will continue to lead the company through a programme of development and modernisation that was launched a few years ago.

Prior to joining Comlux in 2019 as chief of technology, White built his career around business aviation, with a focus on completions. In his 20+ year career, the majority being at General Dynamics companies Gulfstream and Jet Aviation, he has led company transitions and new product development in both the USA and Europe.

“Adam having lived in Switzerland and working with both the US and Europe makes him the ideal candidate to bring Comlux and Comlux Group to another level just in time for the upcoming opening of our new facility in Dubai,” said Richard Gaona, CEO of Comlux group.

“This is such a dynamic time with unprecedented growth at Comlux, I am honoured to accept this role with the full trust and support of our shareholders,” said White. “Having lived and travelled around the world developing new methods to increase productivity, reduce cost, and ultimately drive customer satisfaction it feels as though my career has trained me for this specific opportunity. Through my time at Comlux I have had the ability to lay the groundwork with the fully dedicated team of professionals to ensure our continued growth. Together we are poised to redefine the Comlux space in the VVIP and business jet markets.”

Daron Dryer, Comlux board of directors

Comlux also announced that Daron Dryer, the previous CEO of Comlux Completion, has been appointed as a member of the Comlux board of directors team. Dryer, who served as CEO of Comlux Completion from 2019 until 2023, will officially assume his role on the board this month.

Dryer, a mechanical engineering graduate from Missouri University of Science and Technology, has 28 years of experience in the aviation industry. Throughout his career, he has focused on managing, overseeing production, engineering, and certification processes for more than 30 transport category aircraft and interior completions. Notably Dryer is an FAA DER (designated engineering representative), authorised to make findings on behalf of the FAA in the areas of mechanical systems and rapid decompression.

Before his recent appointment to the Comlux group’s board of directors, Dryer held various key positions within Comlux Completion. He began his journey with the company in 2009 as the manager of mechanical systems engineering, steadily advancing to the role of COO in 2017, and eventually being appointed as the CEO of Comlux Completion in 2019.

“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Daron for his invaluable contributions over the past 14 years with the company, especially for his unwavering loyalty to the team,” said Gaona. “We eagerly anticipate his continued participation on the board of directors, where he will play an essential role in shaping Comlux’s leadership in the industry.”

“My journey within Comlux has been incredibly enriching and rewarding,” said Dryer. “I extend my gratitude to the Comlux Completion team, whose unwavering support was instrumental in my success as CEO. I wish my successor, Adam White, the best of luck in his new role as CEO of Comlux Completion. I am now eagerly looking forward to continuing my support for Comlux as a member of the board of directors.”
