Aerolíneas Ejecutivas (ALE) of Mexico has ordered three Cessna Citation Latitude mid-size jets for its fractional ownership division, MexJet. The aircraft should be delivered in the first three quarters of 2018, and will be based in Toluca and Monterrey.

MexJet has a mixed fleet of more than 30 aircraft – including light, mid-size and large-cabin jets, and helicopters.

“Our fractional clients are going to appreciate the performance of this aircraft, while traveling in what is the most comfortable, technologically advanced cabin in its class,” said Alexis Javkin, business director at MexJet.

“The Latitude gives passengers large-cabin comfort and amenities in a mid-size business jet, and we’re looking forward to demonstrating its innovative capabilities to our customers throughout Mexico and the region.”

More than 100 Citation Latitudes have been delivered, including 42 in 2016. Textron Aviation has certification for the aircraft in 41 countries.

The Latitude can accommodate as many as nine passengers in standard configuration. Interior highlights include the flat floor, 6ft cabin height and wireless connectivity and entertainment system, provided through passengers’ PEDs. The cabin also has new cooling and pressurization systems, the latter ensuring 5,950ft cabin altitude at 45,000ft.
