Atlas Air Service has signed a letter of intent for two Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopters. The company has its head office in Ganderkesee, Germany, and has been an independent representative for Bell Helicopter since October 2014.

“With over 45 letters of intent in Europe alone, the Bell 505 is proving to be the strongest contender to address the corporate market,” said Patrick Moulay, vice president of global sales at Bell Helicopter. “The Bell 505 now has over 150 flight hours and the first aircraft deliveries are already planned in the next couple of years.”

The Bell 505 first flew on November 10, 2014. Highlights of the five-seat, single-engine turbine helicopter include a fully flat floor and clamshell doors.
