The first of two ACH145 helicopters ordered by a private customer has been delivered by Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH). Both helicopters feature the ACH Line cabin, in a bespoke version designed by Harrison Eidsgaard, who also created the livery. The customer has also acquired an ACH160, which will be delivered following certification, with an ACH Exclusive cabin.

The two ACH145 helicopters will primarily be used with superyachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, while the ACH160 will be used for onshore transport. Helicopter management and operation specialist Luviair will manage the three aircraft, which will replace another three currently in service. The second ACH145 is due for delivery in the final quarter of 2019.

“We greatly value our relationship with this customer, who knows our aircraft well, and we strongly appreciate their loyalty in selecting the ACH145 and, in particular, the new ACH160 after nearly two decades of operating Airbus helicopters,” said Frederic Lemos, head of ACH. “The transition to this new generation of Airbus helicopters is a clear demonstration that the ACH160 meets the demanding requirements of the most discerning corporate helicopter customers.”
