A second-generation immersive IFE solution has been unveiled by SkyLights – consisting of a new immersive headset, AlloSky, co-created with Allomind, and new content partnerships.
The headset has full HD resolution (1080p each eye) and features dioptric correction to accommodate differences in eyesight. It is also 60% lighter than its predecessor, the Bravo Theater, and is connected in-seat.
The IFE solution offers a range of content in 2D, 3D and 180°. SkyLights has added to its existing partnerships with 20th Century Fox and Dreamworks by signing new agreements with Warner Brothers, National Geographic, Lionsgate and the BBC.
