Rockwell Collins is to extend its use of product lifecycle management (PLM) using Dassault Systèmes’ 3DExperience platform, and in particular the Co-Design to Target solution.

The aim is to improve collaboration, streamline workflows and help manage internal costs for systems growing in complexity. The solution operates on a secure government cloud environment. Co-Design to Target also includes functional mockup and simulation capabilities, and dashboards for real-time access to project information.

“Our investment in research and development ensures Rockwell Collins and our other customers are equipped with technology tailored exclusively for the aerospace and defense industries,” said Michel Tellier, vice president, aerospace and defense, Dassault Systèmes.

“Rockwell Collins chose to leverage key capabilities of the 3DExperience platform to reduce complexity in its global business.”
