Textron Aviation has opened its second Plane Healthy Wellness Center & Pharmacy, this one sited on its East campus in Wichita, Kansas. The first such centre, located on the West campus, opened in 2022 and last year served more than 19,000 patients, filling more than 32,000 prescriptions. Premise Health is the healthcare provider for both locations.
“Our employees love this benefit, myself included,” said Maggie Topping, SVP of human resources and communications at Textron Aviation. “The technology is advanced, scheduling is convenient and the care is the highest quality – prioritising my family’s health has never been easier.”
“As a family physician for over 20 years, I have observed healthcare systems and the delivery of primary care in various settings,” said Dr Mark McVay, D.O., FAAFP, lead physician at the East campus facility. “At the Plane Healthy Wellness Center & Pharmacy, employees can access primary care, physical therapy, behavioural health, care management and lab work – all in one place.”
Employees and their families in attendance at the grand opening were invited to witness the ribbon cutting, meet the providers, enter giveaways and tour the facility.
