C&L Engineering Services recruits design engineer

C&L Engineering Services, a C&L Aviation Group company specialising in electrical and structural engineering services, has announced that Jim Katopodis has joined the company as a new design engineer.

Katopodis has more than 26 years of experience in aviation engineering, specialising in avionics, most recently as an avionics and electrical engineer for BizJet International.

In addition to aircraft and engine sales and leasing, C&L Aviation Group is an FAA- and EASA-approved MRO offering service, maintenance and support to the corporate and regional aviation industry, including parts support, heavy maintenance, interior refurbishment, aircraft engineering, aircraft teardown, disassembly services and aircraft management. The company is headquartered in Bangor, Maine, with international offices in Australia, Singapore and Europe.

C&L Engineering Services, founded in 2018, specialises in electrical and structural engineering services for Part 145 repair stations. Solutions for both regional aircraft and corporate aircraft include ADS-B, WAAS, cabin management systems, STC engineering and more. Completed projects include the company’s STC certification for the Saab 340 ADS-B in/Out solution, JSX cabin refurbishment STC, and an ADS-B solution for Berry Aviation’s fleet of EMB-120 aircraft.
