West Star Aviation welcomes new paint and interior designer

West Star Aviation has appointed Veta Traxler to the role of paint and interior designer. Veta has more than five years’ interior design experience, the last three exclusively related to aircraft interior design. She most recently held the position of paint and interior sales manager at Elliott Aviation. Veta holds a Bachelor of Science degree in interior architecture and a minor in business administration. She began her career as a design consultant.

“We’re very excited to have Veta join our team as a professional designer,” said Jim Swehla, co-founder and executive vice president of West Star Aviation. “We value the impact our designs have on its users, environment and industry – and Veta will be an integral part of enabling us to fulfill this.”

Veta will be based at West Star Aviation’s facility at Grand Junction, Colorado, USA. She will work directly with aircraft owners and West Star’s design teams, researching and recommending fabric, leather and carpet combinations, cabin configurations and galley and storage functions, as well as designing exterior paint schemes.

West Star Aviation specializes in the repair and maintenance of airframes, windows and engines, as well as major modifications, avionics installation and repair, interior refurbishment, surplus avionics sales, accessory services, and paint and parts.
