New vice president of business development at Field Aviation

Robert Baseggio has joined Field Aviation in the role of vice president of business development. Based at the company’s facility at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Baseggio will report to Brian Love, chief operating officer. Baseggio will be responsible for the company’s business development activities, including the sale of special-mission, surveillance, search-and-rescue and VIP aircraft modifications; kit; and parts manufacturing services.

Baseggio has spent the past 17 years at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft, including several years with the contracts team before joining sales in 2006. In that role he led sales campaigns for the C Series, CRJ and Q400 aircraft in Europe and North America.

Field Aviation offers design, engineering, integration and certification of kits and modifications for a wide range of commercial aircraft used primarily in special-mission applications. The company also makes parts for both OEM and out-of-production aircraft and specializes in the reconfiguration of aircraft interiors on a variety of aircraft types.
