New Embraer programme manager for West Star in Chattanooga

West Star Aviation’s facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has a new Embraer programme manager. Michael Forehand, a certified A&P, has more than 19 years of experience in executive aviation.

His previous roles include maintenance planner, customer service representative, maintenance sales manager and director of maintenance. His most recent position was as production manager at Embraer.

“Mike brings a wealth of Embraer knowledge and passion and will be a valuable asset to the West Star team,” said Steve Goede, general manager at the facility.

“Customer service is my passion and I am always looking for a way to exceed customer expectations,” said Forehand.

West Star Aviation specialises in the repair and maintenance of airframes, engines and APUs, as well as avionics installations and repair, major modifications, interior refurbishment, exterior paint, accessory services and parts.

As well as the Chattanooga site the company’s other primary facilities are in East Alton, Illinois; Grand Junction, Colorado; and Perryville, Missouri.

The company also maintains satellite facilities at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colorado; Chicago Executive Airport in Chicago, Illinois; Centennial Airport in Denver, Colorado; Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport in Houston, Texas; Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Scottsdale Airport in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The company also provides complete FBO services for transient aircraft at its East Alton and Grand Junction facilities.
