JetMS Completions adds to seat modification approvals

JetMS Completions has received US FAA approval to perform seat maintenance and modification work on the Embraer 505 Phenom 300.

A subsidiary of JetMS, and part of Avia Solutions Group, JetMS Completions specialises in aircraft interior, exterior and completions services.

JetMS Completions now holds capabilities for three STCs from the FAA, EASA and the UK Civil Aviation Agency (CAA). The newly approved seat modifications for the Phenom 300 include headrest, backrest, seat base foam and cover replacements, arm cap renewals and refurbishments, seat base panel refurbishments, and painted surface refurbishments.

This also couples with JetMS approved repairs for seat pan crack repairs and seat base panel attachment bracket replacements.

“After 18 months of hard work and application submissions to EASA, CAA and FAA, we have finally achieved and received the FAA STC validation for the Phenom 300 type light business jet seat modifications,” said Kevin Hann CEng FRAeS, head of design at JetMS Completions. “This is a very big step for us and we are extremely happy to be able to proceed with interior completions for the Phenom 300 jets.”

Seat maintenance and modifications offered for the Embraer 505 Phenom 300 now cover the replacement of headrests, seat bases and seatback foams, and leather or fabric covers, armrest assembly to include plastic moulding, foam and leather or fabric covers, refinishing of metal parts, lower shrouds and back panel covers, seatbelt replacement or re-webbing, with a change in the plated finish, if required, and EASA-approved processes for metal structure repairs. Additionally, modifications for the lavatory seat and head strike pad are available, to match the new seat decor.
