Jet Aviation Geneva has delivered a 14-year-old Bombardier Global Express after replacing the existing CMS with Honeywell’s Ovation Select system. The installation received EASA STC approval.
The scope of the project involved a complete redesign of the cabin system features, including audio/video, JetMap HD and wi-fi systems, as well as the water, lights and air-conditioning.
With the new Ovation Select system installed, the cabin can now be managed throughout several touchscreen units, which have been integrated into the sideledges, seats and galley areas. The controls are also accessible through five iPads placed in dedicated sockets designed for this aircraft.
