AMAC Aerospace has shared details of various maintenance tasks recently undertaken by its teams in Basel (Switzerland) and Istanbul (Turkey).
In Basel, a Bombardier Global Express XRS underwent due maintenance, with the team rectifying issues with the aircraft’s windshield and satcom, as well as some cabin defects. AMAC Aerospace reports the long-term customer was pleased with the support, and the aircraft returned to service on time and on budget.

In other news, AMAC Aerospace Turkey has redelivered two Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft after out-of-phase maintenance performed at its hangar in Istanbul at the beginning of September.
The first aircraft belongs to a long-term customer and was prepared for storage. AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s team removed components from the aircraft and performed the necessary servicing and draining applications to meet storage requirements. Additionally, samples were taken from the hydraulic system to verify its condition.
For the second aircraft, also owned by a long-term customer, crew oxygen masks were restored and checks were carried out on the auxiliary power unit (APU) starter brushes. The brushes were close to the limit, so the AMAC Aerospace Turkey team replaced the starter generator with a serviceable unit on an AOG basis.
