First installation for Jet Aviation’s Aviation DishWasher

Jet Aviation recently installed its first inflight dishwasher, which was developed in-house to support all aircraft types. The Aviation DishWasher (ADW 600) was installed by Jet Aviation on a VVIP ACJ330-200ER and certified through the EASA Part-21 DOA minor modification approval process.

The ADW has a three-minute wash cycle and is compatible with a gentle, eco-friendly soap suitable for both silver and aluminum. Jet Aviation says it reduces the number of dishes required on board, provides additional storage space and can even be used to heat up dishes before serving meals.

“We are currently finalizing development of the ADW 450, a lighter 450mm-wide model, which will fit all mid- and super mid-size business jets,” said Johannes Turzer, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation’s Maintenance Center in Basel.

“We developed the ADW in direct response to customer feedback and are very pleased to offer its design and technology improvements.”

The ADW can be installed during scheduled maintenance or combined with other refurbishments, modifications or upgrades at Jet Aviation’s MRO facility in Basel.
