A private customer in Asia has tasked Comlux Completion with a VIP ACJ320 neo interior completion, the center’s first such contract. The work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana, following green delivery by Airbus – scheduled for September 2019. It is estimated that the completion will take around 10 months.

Comlux has been partnering with four design houses for ACJ neo and BBJ Max cabin designs – Alberto Pinto Design, Design Q, Unique Aircraft and Winch Design – and all have been invited to submit concepts. The aim is to choose the final design by the third quarter of 2017.

“We are committed to deliver this VVIP interior within one of the shortest completion cycles to date, it was key for us to sign at the soonest to optimize the lead-time execution for design, engineering and custom fabrication phases prior to input so we can revolutionize the integration and certification phases that occur in hangar,” said Scott Meyer, CEO of Comlux Completion.

“We are running several ACJ neo and BBJ Max cabin sales campaigns right now and we are expecting to sign more contracts before the end of the year.”
