SR Technics’ facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has been named as Diehl Aviation’s authorised repair station in Asia. The site is 10 minutes away from Subang Airport.
The agreement covers component repair services for water/waste and air conditioning components that are now part of the Diehl Aviation product line, but which were marketed under the recently absorbed AOA brand until 2018.
Diehl repair shipments began to flow at the facility earlier in 2019, and their number is expected to more than double by end of the year.
In addition to the business with SR Technics, Diehl Aviation operates three customer service centres (CSCs) worldwide – in Toulouse, France; Sterrett, Alabama; and Singapore. Separate to agreements with partners, the CSCs provide spares and repair services, cabin walks and on-site support or even customised services.
