Daniel Christe becomes CEO of TAG Aviation Europe

TAG Aviation Europe has appointed Daniel Christe as chief executive officer, with immediate effect. Christe succeeds Christof Späth, who stepped down from the role due to personal circumstances.

Christe has a long association with TAG Group, having started his career at TAG Heuer, where he swiftly advanced to the position of chief financial officer (CFO). Following the sale of TAG Heuer to LVMH Group in 1999, Christe became CFO of TAG Aviation Holding and since then has served in a number of capacities within the holding and its subsidiaries.

“During Mr Christe’s tenure with TAG Aviation he has demonstrated a sound understanding of the aviation business and earned the respect of his fellow colleagues and TAG shareholders alike based on his knowledge, work ethic and professionalism” said Roger McMullin, chairman of TAG Aviation Europe’s board of directors. “I am confident that he has the leadership and business skills required to advance TAG’s reputation as the finest business aviation company in the industry.”

TAG Aviation Europe’s business aviation services including aircraft management, charter, maintenance, FBO/handling and crew training. The company has maintenance centers in Geneva (Switzerland) and Farnborough (UK), and offers local maintenance support in Paris (France), Sion (Switzerland) and Madrid (Spain).
