West Star Aviation has announced a new A-Level cabin upgrade package for the G450. The company said the bundle is being offered at a special price for a limited time. As well as an interior upgrade, it includes the installation of Collins Aerospace’s Venue CMS.
West Star has partnered with Collins Aerospace to deliver the dual upgrade, with estimated savings of approximately US$200,000 (€163,192) when completed together.
The installation replaces the original ACMS and the CMS-1 system and can be performed at any one of West Star’s four full-service, authorised Collins Aerospace dealer locations. These are located in East Alton, Illinois; Grand Junction, Colorado; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Perryville, Missouri.
“The original factory-installed IFE systems are becoming increasingly complex to repair due to obsolete replacement parts, so we’ve developed this unique package offering G450 owners the ability to upgrade both the CMS and interior together, providing considerable savings,” said Walt Marcy, avionics technical sales manager at the Grand Junction site.
The estimated installation for this limited-time offering is 8-12 weeks. The work can be scheduled in conjunction with any other maintenance event.
