AMAC Aerospace Switzerland has returned two ACJ319s to service.
One underwent STC level modification and heavy base maintenance. This major refurbishment and modification project included replacing the carpet with a customized solution, re-upholstering all the seats and divans, and installing a new IFE system. The latter features HD monitors as well as AVOD with wireless streaming to personal electronic devices. A second standalone satcom system was installed to offer passengers further connectivity. Cabinet modifications yielded additional storage capacity. The modification and refurbishment work was carried out in parallel with heavy base maintenance, including landing gear overhaul. The cabin refurbishment was performed and certified on time.
AMAC Aerospace Switzerland also recently completed a C check on an ACJ319, on time. Various cabin rectifications were carried out, along with avionic upgrades. The satcom system was upgraded to incorporate SwiftBroadband capability.
