A privately owned Gulfstream IV has arrived at AMAC Aerospace’s facility in Basel, Switzerland, to undergo multiple C-checks and a cabin interior refurbishment. The latter will involve replacing soft materials and some partial wood work.

Another current project is a pre-purchase inspection on an ACJ319 that arrived in early November 2020. Meanwhile, a Bombardier Global 6000 has arrived for a Ka-band installation, to enable seamless connectivity on board. The customer also specified some minor cabin work to be carried out simultaneously. A Bombardier Global 5000 has also arrived in Basel for a 15- and 30-month inspection.

AMAC Aerospace also announced two BBJ projects. Its avionics team will install an IFE system on the first B737-NG. The second BBJ737 arrived in mid-November 2020 for base maintenance including 1A-, 2A- and 6A-checks.
