AMAC Aerospace has said that it continues to welcome Boeing wide-body aircraft to its hangars in Basel, Switzerland. It has recently completed maintenance on a BBJ 777 and a 787 aircraft.
The BBJ 777, which belongs to a head of state, long term customer, came in for 1A, 2A, 6A, 2C and 4C inspections, as well as several modifications. This involved replacing the water solenoid valves, removing medical equipment, updating the technical documentation and installing a Starlink satcom system.
The BBJ 787 underwent an A3 inspection when it visited AMAC Aerospace for the first time. The customer was very happy with the support and has already planned to return, stating: “Thank you very much for the CRS and the great work on our aircraft during this check. It was a pleasure to work with all of you, and we look forward to continuing in future.”
