Aeronexus’ charter BBJ 767-300ER ends first year of operations with Guns N’ Roses tour

Aeronexus has marked the first anniversary of its BBJ 767-300ER VIP charter operations. Most recently the aircraft was used by Guns N’ Roses for a five-week tour of the Asia Pacific region. A bespoke livery was applied and Aeronexus worked with charter broker Premier Aviation (UK) to ensure smooth operation. Other clients have included Captain’s Choice for two 23-day tours of South America; Liverpool Football Club for an 18-day tour of the USA; and Manchester United FC for a flight to Odessa, Russia.

The aircraft was completely refurbished by Starling Aerospace before beginning operations with Aeronexus. It was fitted with 96 seats from Sicma Zodiac, in a six-abreast configuration. The lie-flat seats offer a 73in pitch, in-seat power outlets and are finished with cream leather. For IFE, the AdonisOne system was installed. It includes more than 90 movies, music, magazines and a live moving map – all of which can be accessed using PEDs.

Responding to customer demand, Starling Aerospace recently made and installed a divan that converts to a bed. It is located at the rear of the forward cabin, in an area that also has private washroom facilities.
