PPG’s Alteos interactive window system chosen for Project Canada

One Aviation has chosen PPG’s Alteos interactive window systems for Project Canada, an upgrade to the Eclipse 500/550. The cabin windows supplied by PPG will incorporate the Alteos system, using Vision Systems’ Nuance V2 shading product, enabling passengers to dim the windows from clear to dark.

The Project Canada upgrade, announced in 2016, involves a 14in fuselage stretch, as well as Garmin G3000 avionics, more powerful engines, and longer wings that hold more fuel.

“A priority at One Aviation is to maximize ease of use and passenger comfort,” said Steve Serfling, COO/EVP product development, One Aviation. “The PPG Alteos system provides both with simple and effective control of window shading.”
