CTT Systems’s Cair humidification system has been ordered for a BBJ 777-300. The installation is scheduled for Autumn 2016. In total, Cair has been ordered for 79 VIP ACJ and BBJ aircraft.

“This is our fifth Boeing 777 VIP completion with the Cair system,” said Peter Landquist, vice president of sales and marketing of CTT Systems. “Securing this order for another prestigious VIP completion confirms our strong market position in the VIP segment.”

Cair gives a relative humidity of around 20%, compared to 3-5% without. It is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that CTT says effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria within the aircraft. The dual-purpose system also incorporates the Zonal Drying System to counter condensation problems.
