Jet Aviation is the first to order Cair, CTT Systems’ cabin humidification system, for a BBJ Max 8 completion. To increase humidity throughout the cabin, three humidifiers will be installed. It is CTT Systems’ 86th order for ACJ/BBJ types.

“We look forward to working with Jet Aviation as launch customer on the BBJ Max 8,” said Peter Landquist, vice president of sales and marketing, CTT Systems. “We are committed to improving our inflight humidification system even further.”

“Humidification is an important wellbeing feature in our most prestigious VIP completions,” said Christoph Fondalinski, director of project management at the Jet Aviation Basel Completions Center. “We have broad experience working with CTT and are pleased to once again incorporate their reliable and efficient systems for the benefit of our customer.”

Cair is designed to maintain a relative humidity of around 20% using evaporative cooling technology, while also offering anti-condensation protection. It is designed to preclude the transfer of bacteria.
