Alto Aviation, which specializes in custom audio entertainment systems for business jets, has achieved AS9100 Rev. C certification, an aerospace quality management system standard. It applies to the company’s headquarters in Sterling, Massachusetts, USA, and its engineering, research and development facility in Jupiter, Florida, USA.

Alto Aviation’s quality system was already compliant to AS9100 and FAA approved. Adding AS9100 Rev. C certification standardizes quality processes across the company. The AS9100 Rev. C certification is issued by SAE International. AS9100 is managed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) and based on the ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard.

This certification is the result of a team commitment to compliance led by Rafael Vazquez, Alto Aviation’s quality manager, who stepped up to the challenge of upgrading the quality management system.

“Alto Aviation is extremely proud and very excited in achieving AS9100C certification,” said Vazquez. “We have always been diligent about our quality management system and this certification reflects our continuous efforts to ensure that we will meet or exceed our customers’ requirements. It is a testament of our commitment to quality.”
