With the retirement of Al Keeling, the directory of quality assurance position at Flying Colours Corp has been filled by Richard Dabkowski.

The quality control remit covers all matters of airworthiness relating to the company’s maintenance, manufacturing, completion and the Canadian National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program activities at its site in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Dabkowski will also oversee the improvement of other internal quality assurance programs, manage the company’s AS9100C status, and liaise with regulatory agencies.

Keeling has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining Flying Colours’ maintenance team in 2011, he worked as an independent consultant specializing in aircraft maintenance record audits and technical consulting for aircraft imports/exports. His maintenance experience also includes roles at Kelowna Flightcraft (now KWAerospace) and All Canada Express.

“With the continued expansion of Flying Colours services, it is important that we maintain the superior quality of all our procedures,” said Keeling. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of ensuring that the established processes are maintained, as well as improved, and that the quality of what we do continues to exceed expectations as the business grows.”
