Seven more aircraft types – the Cessna 550, 560, 560XL and 750; Dassault Mystere-Falcon 900 and Falcon 900 EX, and Learjet 45 series – have been added to Pentastar Aviation’s FAA STC Approved Model List (AML) for Honeywell’s DU-875 cockpit display upgrade.

Pentastar Aviation is an authorized Honeywell dealer. It says the form-fit plug-and-play LCD upgrade replaces older DU-870 CRT displays, also delivering weight savings. Units can be replaced individually or together.

“The DU-875 is a low-risk upgrade increasing display reliability, resolving obsolescence issues and contributing to reduced cost of ownership,” said Jesse Beard, avionics and engineering manager at Pentastar Aviation. “This offer provides brand new equipment and a growth path to Primus Elite with Enhanced Features (charts, maps, XM Weather) and Advanced Features (SVS) on several of the platforms through additional software and hardware upgrades.”

A US$40,000 trade-in incentive per display replacement is available from Honeywell until December 31, 2017.
